Peeling experiment of UHMWPE steel frame composite wear-resistant pipe

January 05, 2024
Ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene steel skeleton composite wear-resistant pipe (hereinafter referred to as SRUP) is formed by continuously spirally winding left and right high-strength steel wires coated with adhesive resin using an ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (PE-UHMW) inner pipe as the matrix. The mesh skeleton is the reinforcement, and the high-density polyethylene is the protective layer. The matrix, reinforcement, and protective layer are tightly connected into one with adhesive resin, and the composite pipe is formed by melting and compounding.

The inner tube of SRUP is mainly made of extruded PE-UHMW basic resin with a viscosity average molecular weight of >3 million, and adopts non-melting processing technology. The wear resistance is guaranteed to the maximum extent, ensuring that the performance of the PE-UHMW inner pipe meets the requirements of "Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene Pipes" QB/T2668.1-2007;

Peel test:

The average peel strength test of the SRUP pipe bonding layer reached 162N/CM, and the product passed the hydrostatic pressure and burst pressure tests.
